resolutions i've kept: i feel that this year so far i have been good about getting together with old friends or new friends that i would like to get to know better, and build stronger relationships. i have done a good job with keeping to my workout schedule, and in fact i have heard from 3 people that i look thinner. i have been going to bed later and waking up earlier and in general sleeping better. i have been enjoying nature and in fact make it a point to have a good outdoor activity every weekend. in general the weekends have been fun, and our calendar continues to fill out with exciting events. i also feel like i have been educating myself on topics i am interested in.
resolutions that need improvement: i have let work get the best of me over the last couple of weeks, to the point of frustration tears. i don't want work to have that kind of negative influence over me or my well being. i still need to learn how to master the art of drinking lots of water, it seems so easy, yet is so hard for me. i have been battling with a lot of food cravings lately (sweets in particular) and i could do a better job of self control. i also lost my inspiration in kitchen and am hoping to find my love of cooking again soon! while my workouts have been consistent, it is time to take them to the next level and really push myself.
i think overall i have made a good attempt at keeping my new years resolutions, but there is always room for improvement. i strive to be happy everyday and live a healthy life.
