for many years the kids were not old enough to be in the front yard by themselves. maybe it is because it was off limits that it is extra special. but the front yard has become a magical place of fort building, meeting up with the neighbor kids, bug hunting and adventure.

bowie had a late afternoon/evening play date, and jarad and i got to have a fun double date with our lil dude.

he requested burgers for dinner, so we went to the habit, got dessert and came home to fly airplanes in the front yard, it was pretty awesome!

11 years!!!

this photo was taken in sandpoint, idaho, when we got engaged.  that was the easiest answer and here we are 11 years later.  how we have been blessed!

WOW, what a difference an hour can make and some sunshine. we haven't even had a full week since we set our clocks ahead and yet the spring and summer vibes are running high around here!
