fresh ink

13 months late, but 10 year anniversary tattoo. it's the same sugar skull that I have in white ink on my wrist and jarad has on his ring finger, roman numeral X for 10 years and pink and blue eyes represents each of the kids.  (FYI this is second skin over his tattoo, he doesn't have old man wrinkles like that yet)

11 years!!!

this photo was taken in sandpoint, idaho, when we got engaged.  that was the easiest answer and here we are 11 years later.  how we have been blessed!

this is 9!!!

happy 9th anniversary to my amazing husband.  the life we have built together is far more than i ever imagined and dreamed of.  to say "i love you," doesn't even come close to the way my heart feels for you.

stairs and slides

we had so much fun visiting what looks like real life chutes and ladders!  it is the stairs and slides park at point defiance in tacoma.  bonus points for the beautiful weather!

animal sanctuary

been looking forward to bringing mimi & papa back here since we last visited a couple of weeks ago.  the kids like playing on the "goat playground" but we made some new goat friends and got to see the baby horse that was born about two weeks ago.  this is such a special place.  already thinking about booking our next visit. 

kanaskat

this weekend adventures brought us to kanaskat state park.  it is only about 20 minutes from home and so awesome!

5 year anniversary!!!

people ask you "where do you want to be in five years or ten yeas down the road?"  when i married jarad i would have never guessed we would be celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary in washington with one perfect daughter and a little boy on the way in what we consider our dream home!  life is good with this one and i am proud and blown away at the life we have built together. 

4 year anniversary!!!

happy anniversary to the best husband, father and friend!  i love you more than words can ever express.  you constantly amaze me with your patience, selflessness and brilliance.  this picture represents one of the two greatest days of my life.  you are my world and rock!  love doesn't even begin to describe what i feel for you.  happy anniversary and to a lifetime of many more!

since the very moment i first saw you, i knew there was something different about you. i was instantly drawn to you. it was a feeling i had never felt before in my life. over the years getting to know you better and better i started to see what was different. you are the most caring and thoughtful person i've ever met. i never thought i’d find a connection with someone where i could be myself and be accepted. when everybody calls me weird, you call me funny, that has always stuck with me. you make my life easier and better.
