mothers day gifts

the kids really made some amazing mothers day gifts this year.  not pictured are two houseplants that they picked out with jarad.  one of them is an aloe vera plant, to which i loved how jarad said this could still be alive in 40 years.  i remember the huge aloe plant my grandmother had in the backyard by the pool. so this is a gift i am very excited about!

morning glory muffins

my favorite, and anything goes. this batch is loaded with zucchini, carrot, banana, pumpkin, collagen and hemp hearts. 

track day

kids first track day watching a friend of a friend race, followed by a trip to the local brewery!

kinder concert

ryder was so nervous for his kindergarten concert performance, but did great and had fun doing it!

sometimes all you have to do is look up (in this case from the sink) to see a view that makes your heart full and makes you feel so grateful!

plant mama

it has only taken about two years, but my friendship plant is finally producing a baby!  look in the corner and you will see some new growth!  yay!

these kiddos are rocking it in chess lessons, they are definitely learning faster than i am!  and they beat me every time!

had a play date with our friends this afternoon and got to visit with their new kitten "cougar."

art show

congrats to our little artist bowie! she had a piece of her art selected to be show cased in the district art show that was held at the high school.  her piece was a picasso inspired self portrait. 

popcorn friday

every other friday you will find me at school popping with my crew!

winners!

school carnival was a big success!  i was popping popcorn the whole time, but the kids had a blast playing the games, jumping on the bouncy houses and visiting with friends!  and bowie won a bunch of tickets for this barbie basket and i won the spa basket from the raffle!

i finished the raffle baskets for each kids classroom for school carnival tomorrow!  ryder's class is an art and crafts themed basket and bowie's is a summer fun basket.  

rhodies

our front yard has three different colored rhododendrons (white, purple and pink).  the purple ones are usually the last to bloom and are my favorite!

mother's day 2024

checked out a new pump track in auburn that also had a nick park attached.  the kids haven't been to a pump track in a while, so they were both a bit nervous and hesitant.  the weather is feeling like summer!
