snow play!

post nap snow play.  we had a snow ball fight, build a snowman, did some sledding and made an ice throne!  i am impressed with jarad's ability to make the biggest ball of snow, it rolls like you are rolling out a piece of sod on your lawn. 

play room make over!

gave the play room a little make over, we took out the play kitchen and got an ikea trofast system, hung some new art and did a small toy rotation!

this one gets me hard.  my heart aches for his wife, kids and family and all those involved in this tragic accident.  each day is precious and always tell those you love them. 

home improvements...

it's been a while since we have done any home improvements lately, but we have done some lighting upgrades!  we put more track lighting in both the family room and play room which makes a BIG difference!  and tonight jarad installed a new hall light by our front door.  next up...new tile in entryway???

we are going through a heat wave and temps are expected to be around 100!!!  i heard on the news that in over 123 years the seattle area has only had 3 days with temps 100 or over!

almost a year later...

and saying "see you next time" doesn't get any easier.  thank goodness we will see them in 3 weeks for christmas!
