congrats to my mama on her last day of work!!!!  excited for this next chapter for you and dad, he better hurry up (only a few more weeks for him).  excited for a fun party in october and to see more of you in washington!  we love you!

necklaces!

getting back into the swing of things after traveling and bowie requested to make some necklaces.  easy because i had it all prepped and ready to go for our vacay, but she never got around to playing with it.  using some pony beads, air dry clay beads and cut up paper straws!

swim lessons...

we have been doing swim lessons all summer, for over 3 months straight now.  bowie has loved it, especially when she gets to do jumps!!!  ryder is kind of indifferent, but he definitely does not enjoy it as much when he has a male swim instructor.  the times he has had a female teacher he does not complain as much, participates mores and blows them kisses.  but they both likes having grandma there to show off to a few weeks back.  bowie would stop and wave after every exercise and ryder was even blowing her kisses and waving from the pool.  this marks the last swim class for the season and we will pick it back up early spring, maybe sooner for bowie, who knows???

it's been a wonderful trip!  we have seen so many friends and family and it leaves our hearts full.  bowie and arianna getting to play and bond is always the highlight and of course getting to meet sweet brayleigh.  having mimi and papa there makes it extra special since it is a rare occasion for us ALL to be together!

birthday!

celebrating my birthday in new england means MIKES!!!  thank you to my awesome sister in law jaime for going into the city to pick up my favorite treat!  their canollis are to die for!  bowie was excited to try them and they did not disappoint for her, they are in her blood!

and big thank you to my sister in law elyse for giving me the one gift every mom wants...peace and quiet.  she made me a bath with a glass of wine and a face mask and said "i'll watch the kids, go relax."

elyse was brave enough to let the girls go crazy with the tie dye, and they came out AWESOME!!!!  they wore these outfits for at least two days straight!
