pine cone flamingo!

just crafting on my own after the kids went to bed.  i saw this on instagram and had to try it myself.  bowie could certainly paint the body next time, and now the flamingo is living in the succulent planter.

supplies:

~pinecone
~pink paint (i used our tempera paint cakes)
~2 straws
~googly eyes
~scissors
~sharpie
~glue gun

how to:

first off i painted the pine cone pink.  then using a bendy straw for the head, i attached googly eyes and cut the tip to make a beak and used the sharpie to color it in.  with a glue gun attach it to the pine cone.  then with the 2nd straw, make two legs and glue to the body.
