we said our goodbye's to the cousins as they made their way home this morning, what a fun visit!!! and we spent new years eve with our neighbors who are dear friends with pizza, champagne and dominoes!

hot chip
my dad got his son in laws the hot chip challenge for christmas. here is the video of jarad, he took it like a champ! although an hour later while looking at christmas lights, he started to not feel so well and we had to cut the drive short. but nothing nothing a little pepto couldn't fix.

christmas eve 2023
fun tradition we started last year is to give the kids a small lego set to assemble on xmas eve evening.
and a new tradition we started yesterday is to wrap before christmas eve. what a game changer! everything was done and we had a great relaxing day and i didn't realize how much i dreaded wrapping all the gifts the night before.

white river valley
this rainy afternoon is a perfect opportunity to get out of the house and go to the museum with our friends. They had never been before and it was decorated with lots of fun Christmas trees that you can vote on as well as I rotating exhibit. The new exhibit was one on knitting and weaving. The kids enjoyed doing some simple finger knitting.
