we went to the kids museum in olympia for the first time, i had heard wonderful things about it and it definitely lived up to my expectations! there were so many interactive learning exhibits, water stations, wind tunnels, imaginary play and two large maker rooms. the maker stations were a favorite for us all. bowie made a doll desk out of recycled materials and ryder and i made a car garage. bowie and i also made a small wreath and did some wax dippings. this built up an appetite and we found a great pizza place around the corner, with a very old school vibe. the pizza was excellent and they kids got to play pac man and pin ball for the first time. a great rainy day family adventure day!
