this is just our large sensory bin filled with rainbow rice and tools like scoops, cups, spoons, ice cube trays, cupcake tin and bowls. nothing fancy, but there is a lot of scooping, pouring and transferring and lots of problem solving and learning taking place.

messy play!
social distancing these days, so set this up for the kids to play with on this chilly morning. ryder did a great job of not throwing or dumping and loves to sit inside the container for the full sensory experience, including in the diaper.

fresh elderberry syrup
this is my second batch and i did a few things differently. i did a double batch because making this is time consuming and messy, and i added a small dash of cayenne so that it won't be too spicy for bowie. it tastes great, but i will continue to tweak it, because the ginger and cloves still give it a good kick. but we have enough for a couple of weeks.

grimms medium stacker
ryder has been loving our medium sized grimms rainbow stacker. the big one can be a bit overwhelming for young kids, but this one is a great size for building and stacking. these are his creations, 100% on his own!
