dash point beach

not the beaches we are used to in california, but this was perfect.  a gloomy but mild day to enjoy low tide at dash point beach.  the kids had a BLAST digging, collecting shells, running on the sand and a picnic.

twice in a week.  once for a day date hike and then again with the whole fam for some rock throwing fun!

we've come a long way

this guy doesn't give up the snugs easily (that is unless you are mama or dada) but he has come a long way and requested "grandma hugs."

we enjoyed strawberry picking so much, we brought grandpa back.  and good timing, we may have gone on the last day of the season.  still plenty of ripe berries for the picking!
