frogs & bugs play dough kits!

time for a new play dough kit theme, so i did the kid kits with bugs for ryder and frogs for bowie!

ryder's kit includes: cookie cutters, stamps, mardi gras beads, paper straws, rolling pin, mini solo cups and plastic bugs.  

bowie's kit includes: aquarium plants, glass gems, wooden stumps and plastic frogs.

we went back to kanaskat in the morning and spent the afternoon hot tubing.  it was a good day.

did some thrifting today, found these salt & pepper shakers that i wasn't sure if they are fiesta or not.  i was hoping i came across a very coveted lilac dream find, but sadly they aren't.  oh well...they are cute anyways.  sometimes it's the thrill of the hunt that is just as satisfying as the find!

blueberry picking

today we met friends at our favorite blueberry farm in auburn (canterberry farms) for the last day of blueberry picking for the season.  the kids had a blast picking and eating blues, playing in the garden and observing a grasshopper.
