we seem to be making a habit of hanging out at the arboretum and lake wilderness on sundays and i love it! the kids, banjo and i, started at the arboretum and walked to the lake and onto the park, where bowie ran into a friend from school. on our walk back, the kids found flowers from a wedding bouquet from the evening before and were playing with them. we took them home to make some pretty arrangements.
drag queen story time and dinner with our neighbors! i know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but i love sharing this amazing event with friends!
checked out the covington fire department open house. i always love this event. you get to tour the fire house, get up close with the fire trucks and ask the fire fighters all the questions.
this picture is worth a thousand words to me. i have so much respect, appreciation and love for this man i am lucky enough to call my husband. he is our rock, protector and heart. i was watching jarad working hard as i was working out in the garage this morning, and i realized that we are currently living all the dreams we had for ourselves and family. now we patiently wait while bigger dreams are yet to unfold.

this dog is such a lover, he sleeps on my chest the way the kids used to! i love him so much!
