belated birthday present...hair tinsel.  coincidentally she is sick again :(

read with rover

there was a local pet adoption today where you can read to dogs/cats that are up for adoption.  while we are not in the market for a new pet, we are always up for reading and loving on animals.  our favorites were the kittens and the senior dogs. 

art docent

this months art docent project is right up my alley.  a self portrait made out of loose parts and pieces!

begonia

my angel wing begonia has been looking a bit distressed lately with really light colored leaves. i'm not sure what the cause is.  i decided to replant in a bigger home and break it into a couple of different planters. my neighbor was having issues with hers recently (and these came from the same host plant) and she is having great success having cut them back and replanting, so fingers crossed.
