sunday funday...

yesterday jarad worked like a dog in the yard and burned our last burn pile (a huge one) and the neighbor even helped do some work on his tractor.  then we had company over for dinner, so sunday was a day for us all to relax and be together outside before the week starts.

we hid some rocks we painted and checked out a new rock hunting trail.  we ended up at our favorite spot...yep you guessed it, the arboretum!  we all had a good time, including wilfred who had so much fun he needed a bath when we got home!

i snapped this pic when we were walking a trail at henry's ridge.  i take so many pics, but bowie is so squirmy that they come out blurry and i rarely get a frame worthy one.  but this one i am proud of, i don't think it could get any sweeter.

remember how i traded a scoby for eggs earlier in the week, well i used some today in my meatballs and look at these yolks!  in case you thought there wasn't a difference between store bought and farm fresh eggs.  wow!

i turn around for 1 minute and this happens...guess it is bath time!

friday fun...

i love fridays because jarad comes home early from work.  it was a nice day, so we went rock hunting, to the gym and then went out for chinese food.  it was a nice evening with my little family.

another beautiful fall day spent rock hunting in the arboretum yesterday.  we found 2 cool rocks today and we hid a bunch by shadow lake.
