14 months old!

it is hard to believe that you are 14 months old already.  it is like time is in warp speed and i wish i could slow it down.  i look at you and have to pinch myself that i am so lucky to be your mama.  you are happy, easy going, affectionate, sweet, curious and ALL boy!  it is funny to me to see the difference in genders from such a young age.  you love to explore, are very physical and active, rough and already know how to flirt and charm.  you are drawn to all things dangerous and will attempt to climb anything.  you are learning how to annoy your sister but also love to cuddle her.  you love music and dance to your favorite songs.  we waited so long for you and you bring us so much joy and complete this family!

milestones:

~size 24 month clothes, size 5 diapers
~6 teeth (4 upper, 2 bottom)
~fav book: "the hungry caterpillar" and paw patrol book
~fav songs: "baby shark" "99" "sex on fire" "thunder"
~fav toy: shape sorter, plastic lion, pretend food in kitchen, ball pit, pretend remotes and phone
~fav food: chicken nuggets, nectarines, blueberries, veggie straws, but you will try anything
~words: "mama" "dada" "baba" (for bottle).  i have heard you say words very clearly, like "bowie" or "bow bow" or "cheese", but then i don't hear them again.  you are chatting up a storm, but you like to point to communicate what you want
~very close to walking, you will take a few steps with little assitance but need to boost your confidence.  you will stand up and balance on your own when distracted playing and then you realize what you are doing and then sit down
~you give high fives and cheers with your cup
~you love to wave and blow kisses
~2 naps a day
~bedtime between 7:30-8pm
~you love your "stuffies" just like bowie.  you especially love your george pig.  you love to snuggle with them
~you like the fan in your bedroom and get excited when you hear and see a plane in the sky

he is so close to walking, we were thinking he may figure it out on vacation?  but he is loving practicing on his cousins walker.

on our way back to new hampshire from vermont and we spent the afternoon with some of our favorite friends and their adorable boys.  the kids played outside, rode bikes, washed bikes and the adults caught up on life.  how i miss these guys! 

home in vermont!

we are staying with peggy and angelo in vermont and they sure made us feel at home.  we loved our time catching up with them and playing in the garden. 

reservoir swimming!

a perfect afternoon swimming in the reservior and a pizza dinner at the park with the vianis!  bowie and olivia had so much fun swimming and playing together!  it's so fun to watch these kiddos play and know how much history their dads have together. 

ben and jerry's!

another vermont staple!  we went on the ben and jerry's factory tour, sampled ice cream, visited the cows and played on their play ground!

vermont!

it's not a trip to vermont without a stop at the cabot cheese shop and the cider mill for apple cider and cider donuts.  i asked jarad if he ever thought in college that one day he would be bringing his kids back here.   bowie loved the donuts and both kids had cheeks full of cheese.  they enjoyed both stops very much!
