strawberry picking

a first for all of us!  on a beautiful warm PNW day, with great views of mt. rainier.  we picked and ate our fill of strawberries, so much so we will bring grandpa back!

happy fathers day to the love of my life, who is a wonderful husband, daddy and partner.  my own dad who is the rock of the family, generous beyond belief, kind, funny and an amazing dad and grandpa.  and to my father in law and papa, who makes us laugh, always has sweet treats and we adore!  love these guys, happy day to all!

in keeping with my buy local and small biz, i got jarad a super cute gift (well at least i think it is).  it is a t-shirt where the back  of it is a road, so your kids can play with their toys on the back and give you a massage while you lay belly down on the floor.  hehe.  i saw several versions of this all over social media, and i found a local mama who does tshirt designs.  i asked if she could do something similar and within a few days she sent me a few proofs and i picked up from her home.  i will post a pic of jarad wearing it and testing it out.  of course he also got hot tamales and a bunch of chap stick.  we made a yummy breakfast complete with our fav bacon and cinnamon wheels!  he is going for a ride on his new bike this afternoon and making his fav chicken wings. 

hair cuts!

yay, grandma is here!  one thing i really wanted her to do is to fix the haircuts i gave the kids.  mission accomplished!

no stranger danger with this one this time.  he was happy to see grandma and insisted on holding her hand the whole walk while we hunted for rocks. 

outdoor toys

the sun is shinning and we have been spending lots of time in the yard.  i have been working on building ryder's outdoor toy collection.  now first thing in the morning he puts on his boots and goes outside to play, it is the sweetest thing.

this little guy has been around for probably over a month now.  he hangs out by the hot tub.  often times when we open the cover he is hanging out by the controls.  probably time to give him a name?
