traced all of our hands on construction paper and cut them out to make some "turkey feathers." i drew a turkey body and bowie glued the feathers to the turkey. together we decorated with washi tape and feathers to create a "funky turkey" that bowie named "gobble."
today was the kind of beautiful fall day that makes you not even care if it is chilly out. living in WA i have learned that when it is nice out you take FULL advantage. and today we got out early to explore lake sawyer regional park.
a big thank you to my sweet friend beth for dropping off this awesome surprise. a thanksgiving cookie decorating kit! it was fun and so yummy!
it's going to be a long winter (and it isn't even technically winter yet, ugh) so i picked up a few quick and easy arts and crafts to keep bowie busy and entertained. she painted a santa ornament (kinda looks like a gnome so we will add him to the gnome trail) and colored a canvas bag. well that was fun, but looks like i need to get more...
