day 5: one more sleep until we are together again! i left them some foam hearts to decorate and string to make a garland to decorate for valentine's day! get creative!

day 2 is a kiwi crate about the stars and some gummy treats. hope they appreciate how cool it is to make a model of the earth and planets with a real life rocket scientist (aka their own dad!)

today i head to CA to help out my parents, post dad's heart surgery. the kids know that i usually leave them gifts for every day that i am gone, and this trip is no exception.

joy
three makes a collection! i found my third glassybaby in a week! this one is called "joy." the color doesn't really spark joy for me but it sure does look a lot different in the light (the last pic in the car). i love having a new thing to collect and hunt for!

bud vase
first saturday of the month means home depot kids DIY craft. this month jarad was unavailable this morning, so i took the kids and thank goodness it was an easy peasy craft! they made this adorable bud vase. bowie was able to do most of it herself and with some guidance ryder completed his as well. they both LOVE adding buttons to their aprons.
