1st day of school!

bowie is 2.5 years old!!!  which reminds me that i should do a big developmental update as this seems like a good time, but this also means she is old enough to start going to preschool!

i found a great program in town that offers us a lot of flexibility as we start this new journey!  she has an older friend that also goes there and was beyond excited when she arrived.  in fact she dropped me like a hot potato and immediately started to play!

we packed her backpack the night before with extra diapers and a change of clothes and we talked about what her day would look like.  it is hard to get exact details from her about what she did, but she told me that her and james played "kitty in the house." and aurora was scared of the cat (james and aurora and are brother and sister and her closest friends) and that they use "mittens" (gloves) when they changed her diaper, LOL. she walked in with a big smile and left just as happy.  we can adjust how often we go and how long i leave her there (for up to 4 hours) but she has gone a couple of times now and seems to be really enjoying it!
