using my silicone mold, i made some large heart shaped ice cubes with some vday treasures inside. set the kids up with warm water, salt and tools for a valentines day themed ice melt activity.
they both had fun with this one. eventually ryder started to pretend to cook with the cups, spoons and jewels. and bowie is getting very good at finding the most efficient way to complete a task. she started to put the whole ice cube into the large bowl of warm water and said "i'm doing it the easy way and ryder is doing it the hard way."
