ryder's assesment

ms. jessica sent me this assessment for ryder from september through december 2021.  

"January Assessment: 

Ryder is a joy to have in class! He is kind, well mannered and a great friend to all his classmates. He works hard and is always willing to help others. 

In September, he knew 20 uppercase letters, 11 lowercase and 0 letter sounds. He now knows 24 uppercase letters (L, V) and 18 lowercase letters, and 5 letter sounds. 

In September, he was able to count to 12 and can now count to 29. He can also identify numbers 1-10 and put them in number sequence. He understands positional words, can identify all his shapes and shows knowledge of rhyming! 

He also knows his last name and parents names. 

We are working on completing an ABB pattern, identifying lowercase b, f, and h and letter sounds. We will also be working on writing his name starting with R. 

I am so grateful to be his teacher!"
