i woke up with a pit in my stomach and an overall sadness this morning. i realized it is because it is the last day of ryder's preschool and being part of the most special preschool family! we have been going to ms. jessica's school for 4 consecutive years and her preschool/home is such a loving, nurturing, warm and friendly place to learn and grow. i will miss drop offs and chatting with the moms, texting and sharing with ms. jessica our love for wooden toys, all the hand print projects they bring home, the safety and security of her little school and of course the friendships! although this was our last official day of school with her, it won't be a goodbye. the kids will be doing one last summer camp and i know our friendship with jessica will only grow.
the kids had a fun hawaiian day and i got to come in one last time to do an art project. we decorated visors for summer and ryder got to celebrate his birthday with cupcakes. oh how we will miss these sweet faces! luckily we still have a picnic and graduation this week to soak it all in.
