homemade play dough!

today was a home made play dough kinda day.  this is actually my first time making it.  i tried to make an ombre purple with 3 shades, but i didn't use enough food coloring, oh well...now i know for next time!

this was a great activity because not only did bowie get to play with it, she helped make it!

recipe:

2 cups flour
2 T oil
1/2 cup salt
2 T cream of tarter
1 1/2 cups boiling water
food coloring (optional)
