over the weekend, it looked like there may have been a chance of snow today. but the weather was warm (mid 50's) rainy and then windy. but the temps dropped around sundown and by 8pm we had snow! we thought twice about waking up the kids, but opted to let them discover it in the morning. what perfect timing for the winter solstice!
