this was ryder's first time salt painting. i cut up some card board and used glue to make his name, cover it in salt and let them paint it with liquid water colors (you can sub food coloring as well). the paint slowly spreads along the salt lines and mixes and looks like tie dye. i love how ryder is getting into creating more and more. he LOVED this project and then we used some bigger board to make more shapes and designs and do it all over again, then they decided that they needed the addition of glitter glue to complete their project.
