visited the white river valley museum in auburn, which has been on my list to visit for a while. over summer we checked out it's sister property, the mary olson farm. this small museum has regional history of the area as well as a train cabose, school house and town shops. one of the highlights was all the libraries decorated their own themed christmas tree and we got to vote on them. we all liked the reading rainbow tree. they also had a very interesting temporary exhibit called the closet of curiosities.
