we went to the park around lunchtime the other day and it was a big mistake, too hot and tons of kids from camp playing. so i promised the kids we would return in the morning with breakfast! we had a nice morning with the park mostly to ourselves and the highlight was finding this lady bug friend. she landed on my shoulder (hopefully giving me good luck) and bowie was very fond of it. she held it for about 45 minutes letting it crawl all over her and she wanted to bring it home. we set it free on our beautiful yellow rose bush that is plentiful with aphids.
