this holiday sure has a new meaning and appreciation now that i am a new mommy. i have to wish my mom a happy mothers day, without her i would be lost and bowie is so incredibly lucky to have her as a grandma!!! and to my mother in law (i lucked out in the in law department) who raised her son to be an amazing husband and father! and i am surrounded by such strong women in my life, i am blessed to have such positive role models. wishing all the mothers in my life a happy and special day.
my first mothers day was spent with my family and i was lucky enough to have my sister and brother in law here for the weekend so we got to spend the morning together before they left to go home :-( but all i wanted was some sleep...did i get it? no, not really, but it was spent with my family and it was all i could have asked for. i did get a nap and we went on a family hike and i felt so incredibly lucky to be a mommy to bowie (and of course my furbaby wilred).
Thank you EB, you & Jamie made motherhood easy, fun and rewarding. You two are my greatest accomplishments and my proudest persons. I'm sure that there were hard moments, but really I can't remember anything significant. You are a great mommy to Bowie but hey, I taught you all my best moves. xoxox
