milk man!!!

i recently signed up for the smith brothers farms delivery service and got my first drop off this morning, i am so excited!  it is a milk man service in washington that delivers local dairy items, produce, baked goods and meats to your doorstep.  i believe it originally started out as a milk, eggs and dairy service but has expanded to include other local farms and venders.  there is no contract, but you sign up online and create a "standing order" and frequency of delivery and then they drop off your insulated milk box and your order.  my standing order will include; eggs, butter, 1/2 & 1/2, chocolate milk, and bacon to be delivered every other week (your order or delivery date can be changed easily by calling, emailing or going online).  after signing up i got an email confirmation that brad is the milkman for my area and will be making deliveries on tuesdays.  i feel good supporting the local farms and businesses and the prices were equal to shopping at trader joes, and of course you get this milk box that is too cute to keep out on your front doorstep.
