19 months!!!

this little stinker is 19 months old!  time sure does fly by!  this month has been a challenging one.  we have been dealing with some sleep regression (or waking up multiple times during the night and dropping our binky for attention), and learning to share, working on giving up the bottle, introducing potty training and her saying "no."

i sure hope the "terrible 2's" have not blessed us early.  but i realize this is hard time developmentally.  she is wanting to be more independent and express herself.  i also know we are taking away comfort items and working on some big concepts that take time and patience. 

i try to get her out of the house often, and outdoors when it is nice out!  she loves toddler time and we have play dates weekly.  we go on nature walks at the arboretum and do a lot of arts and crafts and sensory activities.  recently she has taken a liking to minnie mouse and her vocabulary grows larger and larger every day!

bowie milestones...

~size 5 diaper (not for long, unfortunately i forgot to adjust our amazon order, but next month will be size 6!) size 2 T pant, 4 T shirt, 3 T pajama, size 5 shoe
~too many teeth to count, and she won't let me look
~calls wilfred "beardsly" (his middle name)
~picky eater, but loves "nuni's" (egg noodles with cottage cheese and browned butter)
~takes 1 nap a day unless really tired
~hair is light golden brown and long!  we are working on keeping a clip or band in her hair to keep the bangs off of her face.  eyes are dark hazel green
~loves her blanky, binky and "ba-ba" all at the same time
~loves to play with little people, pretend food, books, doll and play-doh
~loves to feed wilfred treats

~loves being outside
~doesn't like sitting in car seat as much or being in the car for long periods of time (i can't blame her)
~loves animals
~lots of pretend play
~interested in babies and loves watching big kids
~likes to do a somersault with help of course
~loves chocolate
