small world play...

this is another one of those terms that is thrown out a lot in the blogs i follow.  it means creating an themed environment for children to play with.  and some of these can get super fancy and elaborate.  there are so many awesome ideas out there, but i am starting simple with this one.  i also am using things i know bowie will love, she has not stopped talking about the easter bunny and finding easter eggs since march, so i thought i would bring it back.

i created a small world for her in a large sensory bin with rainbow rice, peg people, toad stools, houses, easter eggs and little furry creatures from her easter basket.
