busy bag!

it's the day after halloween and we have a busy morning starting off with ryder's 4 month old check up and then my la leche league breastfeeding support group.  so i needed to make sure my busy bag was on point.  here are my favorite go to screen free activities on the go.  some have small parts so i would only bring them in situations where i could supervise like a restaurant or plane ride. 

i think it is important to let them pack their OWN bag, and we love our skip hop toddler back pack.  it is the perfect size and bowie loves to wear it.  inside i include:

~coloring books, crayons and stickers (be sure to peel backing off first)
~play doh
~magnet tiles
~highlights childrens magazine (great because they are waterproof and indestructable)
~her black and white bag contains her favorite disney figurines
~plus plus blocks
~melissa and doug water wow
~wikki stix
~safari toobs
~and plenty of snack in our planet wise reusable bags
