fun with oobleck!
oobleck is a non-newtonian substance (not quite liquid or solid) that is a simple ration of 2 parts corn starch to one part water. the first time i made it for bowie she did not like the mess it made on her hands. but i am so glad we gave it a second try, she LOVED it!
i initially set it up for her with some dinosaurs, but she played with it for 3 days straight! we used some tools to cut through it and pour and then we just got down right messy and used our hands for a full on sensory experience!
