last night, jarad dug up all of the yellow squash (with the exception of the guy in the back, who was doing okay) and re-planted our extra ones. he also did two rows of them, to give us a better chance of them doing well. here is what they look like today, a little fuller and happier...
we have been having a heat wave all week, so after watering them, jarad covered them with an umbrella to protect them from the hot mid day sun...
unfortunately one of our thai chili plants has died (stalk on left), so jarad took part of it and has it in a shot glass with water on the window sill, we are hoping we can nurse it back to health.
the most exciting thing in the garden, is that we have three small tomatoes growing. they are small and green and very cute...i'm excited to watch them get big and ripe.
