it started about 3 or 4 years ago on a vacation to new orleans...where i had a morbid desire to go on a haunted cemetery tour or at least visit one. the cemetery plots in new orleans are above the ground tombs, since they are below sea level. this is unlike most you see on the west coast. since then, i like to take pictures of cemeteries when i go on vacation, i don't seek them out, but if i happen to come across one, i find it interesting to see the differences in location and culture.

if you are looking for a fun thing to do on a weekend night in summer, check out
cinespia. it is every saturday and some sunday evenings may thru september. they show cult classic movies projected on a mausoleum. they have a dj spin music before and after the movie and you can bring a picnic and booze.
