here is the garden at 29 weeks...
i've been afraid we have neglected it lately, but it seems to be doing well. just when we thought that the squash was totally dead, we have two new yellow squash blossom flowers. we are still hoping to get a squash that will grow big enough to eat.
the lettuce is getting big and growing lots of small "heads". it is actually getting to be so big that it is starting to grow upward as a stalk. jarad cut it back, and i will pick it this weekend for a green salad.
i'm really excited over the peas. they didn't do good in the last round, but we have so many of them now. they keep coming in and we just pick them straight off the vine and eat them. we definitely have enough for a side dish or stir fry.
the herb box is taking longer than i thought it would. but we have noticeable dill and basil. i use basil often in my cooking, so i am patiently waiting for it to get big and full again.
