garden...28 weeks

it has been a couple of weeks, here is what the garden is looking like, we just ripped out the squash and cucumber, because they were not doing well...

the veggies that are doing the best are the lettuce and snap peas.  at first the lettuce was growing leaves and we would use it in salads, but now we actually have "heads" of lettuce.  it is so cute, it reminds me of the cabbage patch kids logo.

we replanted the snap peas, our last stalks only got about a dozen peas total.  now we have so many coming in and lots of flowers that are about to turn into peas.  we pick them right off the vine and eat them, i think we have enough now to make a stir fry or use them in a side dish.

and our herb box is coming along, at least the dill and basil.  i can not wait to get more basil so i can cook with it again and use it in salads.
