paint your family!

the meri cherry "play make create" book has been the inspiration i needed to do more art around here!  i find myself looking and referring to it often and have a list of the projects i want to try.  with a few basic supplies the set up is easy and we are BOTH enjoying the process.

this was a fun one...kinda creepy, but cool none the less.  it is called "paint your family."  meri uses a plastic shadow box picture frame to do it, but i had a dry erase sleeve, which worked well.  i took a recent pic of the kids that i had printed and put it inside of the dry erase sleeve and gave her some chalk markers and she doodled away!
