this is a tried and true classic in our home. but i think this is the first time i have set it up this way. usually i will use a plastic egg carton or cups to hold the baking soda, but this time i laid it out as a flat layer in a dish pan. it acts as a white canvas to the colored baking soda. as always, bowie loves to color mix and then add scoops and spoons and cupcake liners for some pretend messy play.
