bowie and i watched a few short videos today on how rain is made and the weather cycle. we did an easy experiment to see it in action with a rain cloud in a jar. we used a wide mouth mason jar and filled it with cool water about 3/4 of the way full. then added a large "cloud" of shaving cream. we had a pipette and colored water and dropped it on the cloud until it became so heavy that it started to "rain."
she had so much fun with this one we did it three times, each time with a different color "rain."
