this weird cut out in the kitchen wall is wasted space, but this week i decided to put it to a better use with organizing some craft supplies and resources for the kids that they can grab themselves. we have baskets of workbooks, learning manipulatives, flash cards and tracing boards. and art supplies!
since bowie took a tour of her new school, she has been really motivated to do her school work. so i wanted it to be easily accessible to her. and since our activities have changed since ryder no longer naps, i want to make sure she gets enough arts and crafts in. and ryder who is not really into crafts the way bowie is, has shown a big interest in drawing and painting on his own since i created this space for them.
