the real valentines day MVP is my amazing friend maddie. over the weekend she dropped off a bag of fun heart day activities for the kids to do. we have done two of them so far, and will continue the fun when bowie gets home from school. now this is my favorite kinda way to celebrate, with hands on activities!
the first activity we completed was color changing flowers. we filled 6 vases with water and food coloring. we cut the flowers and placed them in the vases, we will watch them drink up the water and watch the petals take on the color of the water.
the 2nd activity was building with tooth picks and gummy candy hearts.
