child led play...

i was cleaning up my peppa pig bath set up and bowie found these rubber ducks, she immediately wanted to play with them.  she brought them to the counter and wanted to pretend to feed them and have fresh clean warm water for them to play in.  she played with this for an hour!!!  and came back to it again later in the afternoon.  this was her own set up and she had a blast! 

sometimes i have to dig deep to come up with creative activities, but maybe next time i should just open up the closet and let her decide.
