lately ryder has been really enjoying stacking, sorting, building, lining up and organizing. he will do this with all different kinds of materials. stacking or lining up books, moving markers around back and forth in the art caddy and lining up his animals for starters. i know this must be a new developmental milestone and it is so cool to watch him make sense of his world/environment.
he has been wanting me to take out the art caddy for him, but i am tired of all the marker caps on the floor and him getting covered in ink. so i brought out some cups and craft sticks for sorting or moving back and forth. it was a great activity to keep him busy at the table.
