lemon tumeric cake

my sister made this earlier in the week and it inspired me to give this recipe a try.  bowie and i put our aprons on this afternoon and got to baking.  i made one for us and one for my friend beth.  i know how much she loves a good baked treat, but i did make sure to ask if she was accepting home made goodies first.  everyone has a different comfort level right now during this isolation thing, but my family is all healthy and we have had minimal exposure outside of our house for the last six weeks.
