mud kitchen

this mud "kitchen" set up has been getting tons of love all week long.  i am so happy we set it up!  as i said before, i would normally stock up on tools and supplies from the dollar tree, but that is not an option, so i am using only things i have and nature!

we take a plastic shelf from the shop to store the stuff on and we have a couple of buckets of scoops, spoons, funnels, spray bottles, shovels, cups, etc.  we have chalk, paint brushes, and recycled bottles.  the kids and i collected a huge bucket of pine cones which ryder loves.

i will set it up with some colored water and they supply the imagination.  they have been at it hours each day!

each day i try to add something new for interest.  i have done shaving cream, water beads and bubbles.  bowie is a pro at this set up but ryder is loving being able to explore and get messy!  and we all enjoy the time outside!
