school closure

monday afternoon it was announced that all washington state schools will be closed for the remainder of the year.  they will still be doing online/distance learning (k-12 grade), and while it was not a surprise, that also means bowie's preschool. 

i don't disagree with any of this, but it doesn't make it any easier.  the hardest part is having to tell bowie this sad news. i haven't been able to bring myself to tell her yet.  ms. jessica will be having a drive by on friday so the kids can say hi and see her.

at this point, my hope is that if summer starts to return to "normal" than maybe we will be able to do lots of summer camps with ms. jessica.  fingers crossed.  but for now, i will do some research on how to talk to kids about this and when things get tough, we always have bubbles to brighten the day!
